This post is all about the ultimate fall season reading list.
The thing about books,’ she said ‘is that they help you to imagine a life bigger and better than you could ever dream of.’

This fall has put a spell on me! Maybe it’s in the air and you’re under it too.
This year… I want to make the season feel more distinct and fun. So, I’ll be reading books that feel somewhat more appropriate for the spooky, Halloween, and Autumn times. 📚🧡🎃
I’m not typically someone whose reading is planned or changes with the season. Usually, I just binge based on my current mood at the time. But this fall is a slow fall season paired with a good ole dark, romantic, gothic, cozy fantasy book to snuggle up with under a mountain of blankets and a hot chocolate . . . need I say more?!
Now, I know that everyone’s reading preferences are unique, and this is the first time I’ve really tried to make book recommendations. But I cannot be the only one ready to take the season’s vibes all the way?! Personally, I enjoy fantasy and romantasy – so these are my TBRs and rereads of the season.
Must Read Fall Books
A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
One Dark Window By Rachel Gillig
Two Twisted Crowns By Rachel Gillig
The Coven by Harper L. Woods
Powerless by Lauren Roberts
The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches By Sangu Mandanna
Night of the Witch By Sara Raasch
The Pumpkin Spice Café By Laurie Gilmore
The Fifth Season By N.K. Jemisin
Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett
The House Witch Delemhach
Starling House By Alix E. Harrow
the shadow in the glass By J.J.A. Harwood
Each of these books has a fall season element. My rereads are Discovery of Witches, now that book 5, The Black Bird Oracle is released, One Dark Window, and Powerless. When I tell you that this fall will be one made of vibes and hobbies I mean it. I hope you make this fall, a slow fall and enjoy the Autumn vibes. However, that looks for you!
